The Winter Park Horseman’s Association has decided to take The High Country Stampede Rodeo Series to the next level. 

High Country Stampede Rodeo is now a
CPRA rodeo series.

Welcome CPRA Members and Families!!
Be sure to check out our Junior Rodeo Series!

ADDED MONEY!!!  Over $23,000 will be added to our CPRA series along with Series Awards.

For our local/former contestants, we have a lot of great information to include you:

Junior Rodeo will stay the same.

HCSR Events – We will still offer three (Non CPRA) Events:  Ladies local Barrel Racing, *Ladies Pole Bending, and *Ranch Bronc Riding.
*These two events will be included in series awards
*These two events are open events.  CPRA members are also welcome to compete.

Some benefits include:
*  No additional fee to enter through CPRA Central Entry
*  Doing well in just the High Country Stampede Rodeo Series could be enough rodeos/points to qualify for CPRA Finals

We hope you will join us for a very exciting 2021 rodeo season at the High Country Stampede Rodeo!  We are again looking forward to many special events including The Twisted Trick Riders, Bennie Bob Patrick, Family Fun Night, Cancer Awareness Night, Sponsor Appreciation Night including a Country Western Dance – live music featuring the Southside Highway Band, Old West Night, First Responder Night, and Military Recognition Night.

The High Country Stampede Rodeo series will be celebrating our 38th season.  We are already gearing up to put on another incredible season of events.  New this year, enjoy ice cream at our new “Ice Box” ice cream shop provided by Charlies Frozen Treat Shop, visit our updated “Buckin’ Chute Trading Post”, and we have wheelchair accessible seating.

OUR MOTTO:

Our Motto here at the rodeo is “The High Country Stampede Rodeo, where everyone has fun!”  Attendance continues to grow each year.  We have locals, folks from the front range, out of state visitors, foreign visitors, first time rodeo fans, and some fun family reunions, all who came out to cheer on Mutton Busters, Sheep Scramblers, and many great contestants. With beautiful Colorado sunsets and warm summer nights, we hosted over 6000 guests.

HIGH COUNTRY STAMPEDE JACKPOT SERIES

Please join us for the High Country Stampede Jackpot Series – Wednesdays, June 16 – July 28, 2021, at the John Work Arena in Fraser.  Exhibitions begin at 6:00pm.  Jackpot begins at 7:00pm.  Barrel Racing and Pole Bending.  There will be an open 5D, 8 and under, 9 – 13, 14 – 18, and open poles.  Many great prizes!  Potluck and awards on July 28, 2021.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE WINTER PARK HORSEMAN’S ASSOCIATION! – A very rewarding and fun way to give back to our community.  Join our rodeo family!

I would like to invite anyone interested to become a member of The Winter Park Horseman’s Association and join us in this fabulous production.  All it takes if $5.00 a year to be a Member in Good Standing and have voting rights and help to make decisions.  Our working members also have access to use the arena, as well as receiving discounts on various products and services.  Please call 970-449-9040 for more information on becoming a member of WPHA.  Contestants do not need to be a member of the association to participate in the rodeos.
