Our rodeo season runs every Saturday night beginning July 6th through August 17th, 2019.  We are again looking forward to many special events including Family Fun Night, Cancer Awareness Night, Sponsor Appreciation Night including a Country Western Dance – Live music featuring Lendon James and the Highway 34 Band, Old West Night, First Responder Night, and Military Recognition Night.  We also expect a visit from the Wounded Warriors and performances from the Twisted Trick Riders.

The 2019 High Country Stampede Rodeo series will be our 36th season.  We are already gearing up to put on another incredible season of events!

Our motto here at the rodeo is “The High Country Stampede Rodeo, where everyone has fun!” Attendance last year was a record breaker.  We had locals, folks from the front range, out of state visitors, foreign visitors, first time rodeo fans, and some fun family reunions, all who came out to cheer on Mutton Busters, Calf Scramblers, and many great contestants.  With beautiful Colorado sunsets and warm summer nights, we hosted approximately 6000 guests.

CONTESTANTS – We appreciate you!!!

As a “Thank You” for a great 2018 rodeo series, we will again be awarding a $200 Buckle Bonus to each open rodeo series event buckle winner in 2019.

The Bounty Bull Returns – $500!!

Bounty Bareback and Bounty Saddle Bronc – $500 each!!

Contestant Camping available with permission.

Over $6000 in Series Awards and prizes will be awarded.

I have a bipolar disorder, and Tegretol helped me to hold on in the moments of exacerbations. The doctor at https://fdlist.com/ highly recommended this medicine, and I can also confirm that it is effective. When I have an attack of anger or panic, I feel that the drug somehow holds me back.

The Winter Park Horseman’s Association Board of Directors would like to thank the community and our sponsors for their ongoing support in this great venture, the competitors for their participation and sportsmanship, our stock contractor, bull fighters, rodeo clowns and announcers, our contestants, and we would especially like to thank all of the volunteers for their time and commitment to making this rodeo season such a great success! We could not do it without all of the support we receive.

I would like to invite anyone interested to become a member of the Winter Park Horseman’s Association and join us in this fabulous production.  All it takes is $5.00 a year to be a Member in Good Standing and have voting rights and help to make decisions.  Our members also have access to use the arena, as well as they receive discounts on various products and services.  Please call 970-449-9040 for more information on becoming a member of WPHA.  Contestants do not need to be a member of the association to participate in the rodeos.

I invite you to come out and enjoy some family fun, great BBQ, and clean mountain air while cheering for some fabulous rodeo contestants, both in our Junior Rodeo Series (growing every year to be one of the largest in our State) and our Adult Rodeo Series.  Lots of Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Breakaway, Mutton Bustin’, Calf Scrambling, Bronc Riding, and much much more!

Hope to see y’all at the Rodeo!!
